Do we all sleep in the same accommodation?
Yes! One of the magic things about the workations is how close the group become after spending a couple of days together. Being in the same accommodation is very important for bonding! We sleep in one of the most stunning riads in and around Marrakech. Girls, we got your Instagram feed covered. We privatised the whole riad, so there won’t be any other guests.
Am I able to declare it as business costs?
For most countries; yes! Workations are costs you invest in yourself and your company and are therefore business related costs. We provide a coworking space, accommodation, workshops and everything around the coworking and skill sharing. You can declare it as business costs, impossible to do when you’re ‘just’ on holiday and a nice bonus for every entrepreneur.
Is there time off to work on my company or see Marrakech?
We have a busy schedule, but there is also enough free time. You will work on your company during the workshops and masterclasses, but in a different way. In the time off , you can choose what you want to do. Answer emails, elaborate the input of the workshops or discover the city. It’s up to you!
Will someone pick me up from the airport?
Yes, as soon as you arrive to Marrakech airport, you have nothing to worry about anymore. Transfer is included. You book your own flights, share the details with us and our driver will be waiting for you at the airport. After a 15 minute drive, you arrive at the riad, where we’ll be waiting for you!
The workation with The Souk Department is still one of my favorite business memories of last year. It was such an amazing experience, that I can't wait to go on the next trip with Claimy!
